After years in development, Daniel’s Room is officially set to open at Dubai Mall, bringing together contemporary art, design and dining in one immersive new space.
Located in Fashion Avenue (2nd Floor), the concept reflects the distinctive creative language of Daniel Arsham, whose work is known for blurring the boundaries between fine art, architecture and everyday objects. The restaurant features limited-edition books, collectible objects and custom-designed tableware, all created exclusively for Daniel’s Room and unavailable elsewhere.
To celebrate the opening, Daniel Arsham himself will be present from 5 PM, signing books and marking the launch of his latest venture. The event is expected to attract art lovers, collectors and Dubai’s creative community, making it one of the most anticipated cultural openings of the season.
Born on 8 September 1980, Daniel Lambert Arsham is an American visual artist who lives and works in New York City. He rose to international prominence for his signature “fictional archaeology” style, where modern objects appear eroded, crystallised or frozen in time. His work has been exhibited globally and has extended into collaborations across art, fashion and design.
Daniel’s Room continues this philosophy, translating Arsham’s visual identity into a physical environment where craftsmanship and storytelling take centre stage. More than just a restaurant, the space is designed as a cultural destination—one where dining, collecting and contemporary art intersect.
