A new name has started coming up in travel chats this week, and it is coming out of Saudi Arabia.

Aquarabia, a large-scale water park located in Qiddiya City near Riyadh, has now started its soft launch phase, with early access already underway for a select group of guests. The preview period has given people their first look at what is being described as the largest water park in the Middle East.

With the soft launch now in progress, interest is picking up, including from Dubai residents looking at short regional trips.

A New Addition To Qiddiya City

Aquarabia is part of Qiddiya City, one of Saudi Arabia’s major entertainment developments under Vision 2030.

The destination focuses on theme parks, sports venues, and large-scale attractions. Aquarabia follows the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City in December 2025, adding another major experience to the area.

Located just outside Riyadh, Qiddiya continues to expand as a destination for regional visitors, with Aquarabia now included in its lineup.

The Largest Water Park In The Middle East

Aquarabia is described as the largest water park in the Middle East and the first water theme park of its kind in Saudi Arabia.

The park spans around 250,000 square meters, with a layout designed for high visitor capacity and a wide range of attractions.

Its size places it among major water parks globally, with a focus on large-scale rides and full-day experiences.

Record Rides And Standout Attractions

Aquarabia features around 22 rides and attractions, with several gaining attention for their design and scale.

Among the highlights is Junoon Drop, known as the tallest and longest water coaster. Slithereel, a rotating slide, is also part of the lineup, along with the tallest AquaLoop.

The park also includes Saudi Arabia’s first surf pool, alongside rafting and kayaking experiences that add more variety for visitors.

Each section focuses on interactive water attractions, offering different options throughout the park.

What Early Access Means Right Now

The soft launch phase is currently limited to select guests, offering a preview period ahead of a wider public opening.

Early access allows the park to run initial operations while welcoming visitors in smaller numbers. At the same time, it gives a clearer idea of what the full experience will include once access expands.

With more people starting to talk about it this week, Aquarabia is beginning to appear on regional travel plans.

Aquarabia is now in its early access phase, and interest around it is growing.

With its size, lineup of rides, and location inside Qiddiya City, the park is set to become a major attraction in the region. Early previews are already giving people a sense of what to expect, and travel conversations are starting to include it.

For anyone planning their next trip, Aquarabia is now part of the conversation.
