The IIFA Utsavam 2024 was a three day event that consisted of the stars from the South Indian and Bollywood industry. Organised in Abu Dhabi, it ended with the declaration of the winner of this year’s performance award for movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Aishwarya Rai won the Best Actress award for her powerful role in Ponniyin Selvan: II during the inaugural award for Ulaganayagan while Vikram received Best Actor (Tamil) award for the same movie. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was awarded the ‘Woman of the Year’, which adds feathers to her name in the Indian film industry.

- Best Performance in a Negative Role (Tamil): SJ Suryah (Mark Antony)
- Best Supporting Actor (Tamil): Jayaram (Ponniyin Selvan: II)
- Best Supporting Actress (Tamil): Sahasra Shree (Chithha)
Also Shah Rukh, Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar are planning to host the final event of IIFA Awards along with performances by Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and others. The IIFA Awards will culminate on September 29th with the concert IIFA Rocks Featuring Honey Singh and Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
