Recently, the United Arab Emirates has made large changes to its visa policy increasing the available visa for the Indians. For instance, the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security stated that tourist visa holders from the USA, UK or EU country’s Indian nationals can get a visa on arrival into the UAE.

Before, visa up on arrival facility was limited to Indians having visit visas for US, green cards of US, resident permits of UK or EU. New permits availed for these places also provided the holder had at least six months validity on their permits from the date of arrival. The new rule also includes holders of tourist visas for these areas in this advantage.

The Visa on arrival will only be applicable for Indians and will be for 14 days and the entry Visa charges are AED 100. It is renewable for a two-weeks period at a cost of AED 250/week. Also, an AED 250 60-day visa option has also been offered to the new UAE visa holders.

It means that Indian pass holders can travel more to the UAE, families of the UAE residents can easily visit India and also tourism in India gets a boost as the people residing in India who are tourists get to travel easily to UAE. It doesn’t matter that they do not have a tourist visa or residence permit for the USA, the UK, or a member of the EU; they still get 11 options of a visit visa: tourist, students, seeking employment, multi-component, and more.
