The Executive Council Chairman Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has declared Dubai AI Week scheduled for April 21-25, 2025. The event will launch a week activities including the Conferences, Initiatives and Exhibition for AI experts, Leaders and Innovators from all around the world which reinforce the position of Dubai as an AI city.
Event Highlights
Dubai AI Week 2025 will showcase key events at iconic venues like the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071, including:
- AI Retreat: More than one thousand industry leaders, technologists and innovators from around the world will convene to discuss AI opportunities and kick-off ten new strategic AI initiatives.
- Dubai Assembly for Generative AI: With 1,800 people, the participants, this event will have 25 sessions and engaging experiences from major tech firms.
- Global Prompt Engineering Championship: A total of forty ideas and concepts will be showcased from which 12 will be given equal equal shot at an AED 1 , 000 000 ($ 272,000) kitty through demonstrating innovative AI.
- Dubai AI Festival: To be held at Madinat Jumeirah it shall accommodate 5,000 business captains, 500 investors and 100 exhibitors from each of the one hundred countries.
- Machines Can See Summit: First machine vision technologies conference and exhibition will attract 5000 participants such as 300 startups 100 C-level executives.
AI in Dubai’s Vision
The initiative is in synergy with the Dubai AI Universal roadmap where the focus is placed on the positive impact of AI technology in different sectors. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that Dubai strategy was in achieving creating an end-to-end ecosystem that would support innovation, PPP and investment in AI.
Educating Future Generations
A week long KHDA led educational program for schools in Dubai will encourage students to understand AI concepts and its application to embrace the future industries.
A Milestone Event
Dubai AI Week is to attract over 15,000 participants during its multiple events and will become a ground for innovation, partnership, and cooperation in AI, as well as a venue announcing new international projects in Dubai.
