The award is for DCD’s innovative Environmental Preparedness Programme that uses advanced artificial intelligence technologies to prevent fires and protect people and assets.

The recognition by NFPA proves that DCD’s fire prevention measures are effective as well as inventive due to an active approach. Thus, this case of applying advanced technology in the analysis of fire incidence patterns and improvement of the prevention mechanisms indeed showcases DCD’s effort as successful.

This was received by Major General Jamal bin Adeith Almehairi for DCD; this showed that the department embraces safety and quality.
