Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated the Dubai AI Academy through an official launch as a central component to enhance AI learning and its deployment in major economic sectors. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum made the official launch at the Dubai AI Week 2025 which took place between April 21-25 across Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 venues.

The Dubai AI Academy situated at the DIFC Innovation Hub within the Dubai AI Campus has been established to train 10,000 leaders while providing them with advanced AI certification programs. The academy stems from a partnership between Oxford University’s Saïd Business School and Udacity along with the Minerva Project to create specialized curricula for future demands such as ‘AI for Civil Service’ and ‘Leadership in the Age of AI’.

Sheikh Hamdan stated that Dubai plans to welcome leaders from around the world who seek to advance artificial intelligence by making it their preferred destination.

Training modules at the academy will teach students how to identify and implement AI use cases combined with business strategy integration as well as responsible deployment frameworks for AI through ethical standards. These initiatives support both the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI) and work to increase AI’s economic value in Dubai and make the city more competitive globally.

Through its training programs the Dubai AI Academy promotes the DIFC 2030 Strategy by establishing skilled professionals for AI and FinTech and innovation sectors. AI education mainstreaming positions Dubai in front of worldwide technological change since it creates a workforce designed for a data-driven world.
