Meta AI Expands to More Countries and Adds New Features Across Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp

Meta AI, the Gen AI-powered chatbot which was recently released on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp in the US is now going global. The expansion of Meta AI was started in thirteen countries earlier this year and it was firstly introduced in India last month and now Meta AI is available in a total of seven more countries making its presence in 22 countries in total.

Meta AI now has availability in more countries and more languages.
The latest expansion of Meta AI is Argentina, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, & Peru. Alongside this geographical expansion, Meta has also added support for several new languages: Such countries include France, Germany, India, Italy, Portugal and Spain and the languages of these countries include French, German, Hindi, Hindi translated into the romanized script, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Image Imagination: Bur currently, users are able to request Meta AI to generate pictures from the prompts it was given. For example, typing “picture me like this:” followed by “an astronaut” will prompt the application to show the face of the user with planets behind him or her in an astronaut outfit.

Image Editing: It can now draw on self-encodable pictures and edit them. If you command it to produce an image and you wish for changes, you can specify exactly what you want. For example, you can tell the AI ‘‘Substitute the cat with a corgi’’ given an input image showing a cat swimming in a goldfish bowl and it will generate an image corresponding to the modified prompt.

Easier Access for Posts: It avails interaction with Meta AI inserted directly within the windows of creating stories, posts or status on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and even WhatsApp. It also merges the posting of images produced by the chatbot with ease.

Enhanced Assistance with Math and Coding: Meta AI’s recent progression allowed it to perform more precise question answering using Llama 405B, in areas of math or coding. It offers working solutions in mathematics, fixes on bugs, recommendations on how a piece of code can be made more effective, and real instructions in technical and science. The users can even use Meta AI to code new games or generate figures to use in modifying the then existing games.
