Chinese companies maintaining that Dubai presents them with the most suitable opportunity for enhancing the globalization of operations, because of the competitive edge this place has and the right conditions for investment. CEOs of three major Chinese firms back Dubai for expansion across MEA and beyond as Dubai International Chamber continues its support.
To enhance the economic cooperation and collaboration between Dubai and China, Dubai Chambers is planning to organise Dubai Business Forum- China on 21-22 August for the promotion of DIC’s diverse investment prospects. It will target multinationals, unicorns as well as the fast-growing startups from China and at the same time will encourage Chinese investors to partner with the businesses based in Dubai. The forum also aims at marketing intra-regional investments and trade.
Gavil Fang, the Meorient chief executive, which hosts the China Homelife Dubai Exhibition, described Dubai a “the exhibition hub” to the Middle East and significant Asiatic and African markets. He underlined that the location of Dubai provides Chinese firms with unparallelled access to international markets and equally underscored the importance of Dubai Chambers in comprehending the market and trade flow.
Alex Yang, the co-founder of TUYA Smart, a cloud platform based in China that ventured into Dubai last year, was upbeat about the neutrality of the city’s market, which is consistent with TUYA’s mission of smart living and ESG standards. Yang also added confidence in Dubai ability to be at the forefront of AI and innovation, especially in the strong connection with the Dubai Chambers.
According to Dr. Jusong Xia the President of International Business at United Imaging Healthcare, the UAE particularly Dubai was chosen because of the easier registration procedures and good business policies for health care in the region. Dr. Xia went on to note that their network in Dubai is going to be strategic for all their subsequent investments in research and development for progressive healthcare.
The focus areas of the Dubai Business Forum – China will be the green technology, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and renewable energy, thus solidifying Dubai’s status as an international business city.
