Dubai’s Vision for Global Business Leadership Unveiled at ‘Dubai Rising’ Conference

Dubai manifested its commitment to global business leadership through the ‘Dubai Rising: Building Tomorrow’s Global Business Capital’ conference held at the Museum of the Future. Based in collaboration between Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Dubai Media Council the event assembled 19 global thought leaders who included policymakers as well as business executives and scholars.

The conference materialized to fulfill the economic and sustainable development aspirations outlined by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) emerged as a central discussion points at the conference as this plan targets a goal to double the GDP of Dubai by 2033 while strengthening its worldwide economic status.

The four expert panels discussed essential aspects for Dubai’s economic advancement

Environmental enhancements combine with social development initiatives according to Her Excellency Maitha Mohammed Al Shamsi and Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni who explained how Dubai merges digital achievements with societal empowerment throughout its economic framework.
The US Ambassador Martina Strong identified Dubai as an essential global trading center during her remarks while Apparel Group’s Sima Ved explained why Dubai serves as an advantageous location for international brands.
The head of DIFC’s Salmaan Jaffery affirmed that regulatory enhancements must accompany physical infrastructure development to make Dubai an absolute example for upcoming market formats.
Business experts such as Dr. Karim El Solh and Raakin Iqbal established AI’s transformative role in business operations through discussions about Dubai’s innovative governance and policies led by artificial intelligence.
