Future Blockchain Summit 2024 Kicks Off at Dubai Harbour

The Future Blockchain Summit 2024 has been launched in Dubai Harbour has launched the world’s leaders, pioneers, and the blockchain community. This latest event of this caliber will aim at dissecting the current trends and emerging prospects especially for blockchain and cryptocurrency investments and other potential applications.

The theme of the summit- “Investments in Blockchain & Gaming”- steps up, as does one of the sessions chaired by Dr Marwan AlZarouni, CEO of AI at Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, which underscored Dubai’s AI and blockchain leadership. Dr. AlZarouni continued: «Dubai is a city that promotes innovation, is open for AI and blockchain initiatives to develop in the free business climate of the city,» commenting on the role of Dubai as the worldwide launchpad for these technologies.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, the Executive Chairman & CEO of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) talked about the revolution that AI, cryptocurrency, and gaming brought to international trade. Using the current trends, he estimated that these technologies will transform industries globally by 2026.

An opening panel including such speakers as John Fan from Inception Capital, Marcel Kasumovich from Coinbase Asset Management discussed the fast-growing trend of the new institutional embrace of blockchain technology. Blockchain CEO Mansoor Madhavji of Blockchain Founders Fund hailed the same saying that due to such reforms, Dubai had attracted the best talent and innovative companies.

Accoding to Mike Williams, Toobit’s Chief Communication Officer, the most interesting trend in the blockchain space is tokenization of real-world assets as for example, real estate or commodities.

Another highlight of the Web3 domain was Web3 games, and Blowfish Studios demonstrated their Web3 gaming solutions and let people catch a sneak peek of what lies ahead.

The event then proceeds with decentralized finance (DeFi) section where more than 1200 investor, 120 booths and more than 150 speakers from 50+ countries who drive the future of blockchain advancements.

A key feature of Expand North Star presented by GITEX GLOBAL, today’s focus will be on the development and advancements of DeFi with more than 1200 investors, 120 exhibitors, and 150 speakers from over 50 countries to redefine the block chain.
