Delhi just had its luxury moment. Netflix’s Dubai Bling star and global style icon Farhana Bodi touched down in India’s capital for the grand flagship launch of Dillano Jewels, and it was the kind of event that makes you wish you were in the room. Draped in a deep burgundy off-shoulder gown by @chatsbycdam, glam courtesy of Amrit Kaur (@amritkaur_artistry), and decked out in Dillano’s signature fine jewellery, Farhana did the ribbon-cutting honors and gave the brand the entrance it deserved.
The Force Behind Dillano Jewels
Dillano Jewels is the creation of Chitwn D. Malhotra, a Gemmological Institute of America-certified Jewelry Analyst and gemology expert who launched the brand in 2008 at just 21 years old. What started as a debut collection that sold out entirely at its first show has since turned into one of India’s most recognized names in luxury fine jewellery.
Chitwn has received the World Gold Council’s award for Best Innovative Designs and Techniques and secured a spot in the Times 40 Under 40. Dillano’s pieces have been showcased at the Cannes Film Festival and have found their way onto some of Bollywood’s biggest names, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Dia Mirza, and Bipasha Basu.
Every piece is handcrafted in 14 and 18-karat gold, set with diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. Prices start at Rs 3 lakh and go up to Rs 3 crore and above, so yes, this is high jewellery in every sense.
Farhana Bodi Was the Perfect Choice for This Moment
When Dillano wanted someone to anchor this flagship launch, they got it right. Farhana Bodi is a Dubai-based international influencer, entrepreneur, and Netflix personality with more than 3 million Instagram followers. She has collaborated with luxury houses like Cartier, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, and Burberry, and her reputation in the fashion and jewellery space is well established.
Born in Gujarat, raised in South Africa, and now a fixture of Dubai’s social scene, Farhana knows luxury. For the Delhi launch, she wore Dillano’s floral statement choker paired with matching earrings, a look that photographed beautifully and did exactly what the brand needed: it put the jewellery front and center.
“Delhi has an energy of its own,” she said, “and I’m absolutely here for the bling.”
What’s New at Dillano
The flagship launch is not the only headline coming out of Dillano right now. The brand recently unveiled its first-ever men’s jewellery collection, a historic first in its 17-year run. This new line is the direct result of rising demand from male clients looking to express personal style through fine jewellery, and Chitwn sees it as a natural next step for the brand.
“Men’s jewellery is not just a trend; it’s a return to expression,” Chitwn D. Malhotra said. “In today’s world, jewellery offers men a way to define their personal style, mark meaningful moments, and express individuality.”
The men’s collection is available exclusively in-store, keeping the experience personal and considered, which has always been central to how Dillano operates. The brand currently counts more than 1,500 clients, with a growing international clientele that includes NRIs from Dubai and the US.
What to Expect
With a flagship store now officially open and a men’s collection on the floor, Dillano is clearly at a new point in its journey. The Delhi launch, with Farhana Bodi at the ribbon, tells you the brand has serious plans, and a global audience in its sights. For anyone who has followed Dillano’s rise or simply appreciates the kind of jewellery that stops a room, this is a name worth watching closely, and a store absolutely worth visiting in person.
