The redesigned UI introduces several key features:The redesigned UI introduces several key features:
New Tabs for Easy Navigation: The tabs at the top row include the new Prime tab, for instance, it only reveals content that one can get with a prime subscription. Beside it, Subscriptions tab provides the ways to control and add the partner steaming services.
Clear Content Segregation: The homescreen remains a mix of content: titles for rent or purchase and content from the involved services including Max, Paramount+, Starz, PBS, BBC, Shudder, MGM+, and Crunchyroll. Such partner services are however, not universal since they depend on the geographical location of the center.
Service Logos on Content Posters: For the user to easily recognize the source of the title, the posters of movies and TV shows will introduce a label of a streamer. This aspect is useful in the sense that one can easily tell from this notation whether the content is in the list of subscriptions.
AI-Driven Recommendations: The new UI built on artificial intelligence, it presents the shows based on the history, thus limiting possible suggestions greatly from the entire array of shows available. Further, the synopses of the movies and shows are derived with the help of Large Language Models (LLMs).
Popular and Trending Sections: For those who like to scroll through the most watched material there are tabs “Top 10” and “Trending Shows” which will show what people like in your country. There is also Live TV with 24/7 stations for those consumers who like watching television in the conventional television manner.
Kam Keshmiri, Vice President of Design at Prime Video, highlighted the benefits of the update: “With the enhancements made to the users’ interface, customers will be brought to the screen where they can find entertainment options along with the ability to sign up or switch add-on subcriptions with a few mouse-clicks, and all this can be done with a single login.
