The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) is now coming back to Abu Dhabi starting from April 18 to 20 at the ADNEC Centre to have the most amazing pop culture gathering. From anime conventions to sci-fi movies, games, and more – MEFCC’15 has some great news for everyone – movie stars, star-studded panels, figures, toys, and activities.
Meet the Stars of Pop Culture
Heading the list is Ian McDiarmid, the artist who portrayed sinister Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars series. Gaming enthusiasts will also be pleased to greet TV and movie actor Hideo Ishikawa who is famous for his roles as Itachi from Naruto, video characters in Final Fantasy and Death Note. The event to be hosted in the year 2025 known as MEFCC will include a tournament zone – the Gaming Arena for the players’ matches, a shopping zone on the sale of protected collectibles, and significant zones on showcasing of creative costumes from the cosplay competition. Families find relevant fun in the Kids Zone and the Festival Plaza, as well as main program stages presenting free discussions with celebrities, quizzes, and community panels.

There are option for tourists to step back in time and immerse in the Japanese Village, to take a break at the Bookworm Lounge, or meet artists at the Comic Creators Club. Ticket Information
Admission prices are Dhs 150 for an individual day pass, Dhs 395 for a three day pass, and VIP pass, going for between Dhs 1,000 and Dhs 2,600. Thus, although there is no more the Ultimate VIP ticket type, there are still some VIP passes left.
