Well, that’s the news that every enthralled Coldplay fan living in the UAE would ever want to hear of, isn’t it? Playing at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the gig will take place on January 11, 2025, in advance of its headlining Glastonbury slot; tickets will be priced from just Dhs195. It is the only show in the GCC region on Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres world tour, which will be a spectacle to watch.
Since this show will be taking place in Sharjah and the venue has a seating capacity of 45,000 the expectation is that fans from all over the region will be coming to witness the event since it will be just a short road trip away from Dubai. It will be Coldplay’s second show in the UAE as a whole since the band performed at Expo City last year and the first performance of the band in Abu Dhabi since 2016.

How to Buy Tickets:
Tickets are available through Coldplay direct from their official website starting from September 25, as part of the artist presale, with tickets being available to the general public via Live Nation Middle East from September 27. Audience is encouraged to book their seats early as it is most likely that this concert will attract fully booked concert hall.
Coldplay will be backed by an opening act whose name is Elyanna; a Palestinian Chilean singer noted for blending Arab-pop and Latin beats in her music. She had recently collaborated with Coldplay in a concert at Glastonbury festival, a fact that is likely to spruce up the event.
The fans can look forward to fireworks, LED wristbands, and a heady mix of Coldplay hits that span across their career so far, from “Fix You” to “Clocks”. This tour has low environmental impact by slashing 59% of carbon emissions of prior tours, and planting millions of trees globally.
