Dubai to Host Over 437 Events in 2024, Welcoming 210,500 Delegates

Dubai is preparing to consolidate its position as the top international business event destination: the city / emirate has won bids for the hosting of 437 international conferences, conferences, and business meetings in 2024. Dubai has registered a 20% year-on-year success in the number of winning bids, largely due to growth by Dubai Business Events (DBE), the official convention bureau of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

Cohosting these occasions will bring an estimated 210,731 delegates to Dubai in the coming years and hence bring huge economic returns while boosting the sharing of knowledge and expertise globally. Dubai’s ascension as a ‘must-visit’ MICE destination is evident from the strategic planning of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and exhibition events that exhibit Dubai’s well-developed structure, security features, easy accessibility, and creative tenure to host MICE events.

Key milestone activities have been scheduled in Dubai.
Some of them are the 2025 WFNS World Congress of Neurosurgery with 4000 people, the 2025 Pan Arab Radiology Conference with 1500 people, the 2026 Global Symposium on Health System Research with 3000 people. Business and reward events also exhibit Dubai’s attractiveness aspiration, for instance, the 2026 Forever Living Global Rally that will gather 12,000 people.

Economic Impact of Events: Implementation
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment said that business events have a crucial role in Dubai Economic Agenda-D33, meant to turn the city into one of the most attractive destinations worldwide for business and leisure. “The rise in successful bids evidences the city’s unsurpassed capabilities in providing infrastructure, experience and unmatched unique experiences of the delegates and organizers,” he said.
