Expo City Dubai
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) entry fees for parking spaces are increasing to Dhs25 per hour when hosting important events starting from February 17, 2025. From February 17, 2025 Parkin will implement the new pricing strategy which constitutes the primary paid parking service in Dubai.
The goal behind this change is to minimize excessive vehicle flow on Sheikh Zayed Road through motivating individuals to use the Dubai Metro as an alternative to vehicle transportation.
What You Need to Know
Grand Events Parking will be the name assigned to the affected parking space.
Major event hours are the sole time when the new parking rates are active.
The parking areas will contain clear signs displaying specific rates.
The Parkin mobile app together with its website will provide this information.
DWTC organizes several major UAE displays with Gulfood (Feb 17-21) and Arabian Travel Market (April 28-May 1) and GITEX Global (Oct 13-17) and Beauty World Middle East (Oct 27-29). Major events result in large crowds of visitors who cause traffic congestion together with limited parking availability.
