It’s great news that the 8th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge DFC is coming, and registration has commenced! Initiated by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the event called to turn Dubai into one of the most active cities globally. From October 26 to November 24, DFC encourages residents to pledge to exercise for 30 minutes a day for 30 days.
This years’ DFC is to offer a full calendar of activities and such interesting facilities as three recently popular 30×30 fitness villages. The Kite Beach Fitness Village provides a picturesque area to exercise in and the new RTA Al Warqa’a Park village is set up for cycling and fun for the whole family. The existing facilities when it comes to the Zabeel Park village include the addition of a virus outbreak and launching of courses such as the tough mudder courses as well as introducing spinning zone. For extra incentive, participants can also expect free exercise meet and greet spots throughout the city as fitness communities.
The mass events that mark DFC’s brand message like The Dubai Ride and the Dubai Run will turn Sheikh Zayed Road into a gym. The fifth edition of Dubai Ride is to take place on November 10, and the last event, which is Dubai Run, is on November 24.
Besides, presence from Dubai Stand Up Paddle at Hatta, other international events related to sports and along with training from celebrity trainers will also motivate the participants. Specifically targeting all age groups and regardless of the participants’ fitness capabilities, DFC strives to create a dedicated culture to healthy lifestyles.
