Ramadan in Dubai is celebrated on a cultural, spiritual and festive note at the heart of the city. Ahead of Ramadan coming to an end, here are seven unmissable activities you don’t want to miss out on before the Holy Month ends.

1. Give Back to the Community
The UAE lends itself to various ways of giving during Ramadan. Donating money, stocking a Ramadan fridge or volunteering for charity work, all offer spiritual and social reward.

2. Experience the Ramadan Cannon Firing
The Ramadan Cannon marks the end of the daily fast, and it is a historic tradition. This year, however, Dubai Police has taken the experience further by having 17 locations across the city such as Expo City Dubai, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Festival City, Uptown, Hatta Guest House.

3. Visit a Mosque
However, Dubai’s Jumeirah Mosque is famous for its beauty; in doing so, aside from being beautiful, their Open Doors, Open Minds program allows for an interactive experience. The Dhs40 tours include refreshments and majlis activities.

4. Enjoy Iftar and Suhoor
Iftar and Suhoor menus in Dubai institutions are diverse and everyone is made welcome to delight in traditional Ramadan meals. There are more than 120 dining options from lavish buffets to intimate gatherings.

5. Enjoy Ramadan Tent or Majlis
And for an experience of decadence during the holy Islamic month of Ramadan(s), visiting a beautiful Ramadan tent or majlises in Dubai would be a just right culmination: enjoy a glitzy iftar or suhoor in a sophisticated environment.

6. Shop at a Ramadan Market
Shopping at Ramadan markets like Expo’s Hai Ramadan, or the Ramadan & Eid Wonder Souq at Global Village, has everything you can see with something to see.
