Ramadan is set to begin on Thursday, February 19, 2026, and Dubai has officially unveiled its citywide calendar of events for the Holy Month. As part of the wider Season of Wulfa programme — which begins with Hag Al Leila and concludes with Eid Al Fitr — residents and visitors can expect a packed schedule of community gatherings, cultural showcases and evening experiences.
From fireworks and drone displays to Ramadan markets, majlis dining and waterfront activations, here’s everything happening across Dubai during Ramadan 2026.
Ramadan Fireworks and Drone Shows
Throughout Ramadan, from February 19 to March 19, daily fireworks displays will light up the skies at Al Seef and Dubai Creek, creating evening moments designed to bring communities together.
A dedicated drone light show will also take place during the month, with the official location to be announced.
Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall will host a special Ramadan edition of the IMAGINE light show, alongside live performances and scheduled drone displays, offering a nightly entertainment programme throughout the Holy Month.
Evening Events and Pop-Ups Across the City
After sunset, several neighbourhoods will transform with decorations, cultural programming and family-friendly activations.

City Walk will host relaxed post-iftar experiences from February 17 to March 18, featuring cultural activities, décor installations and special evening gatherings.

The Beach, JBR will offer similar waterfront activations and themed decorations from February 18 to March 22.

City Centre Mirdif will become an evening gathering hub with dedicated programming for families.

Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dubai will run from February 22 to March 17, featuring storytelling sessions, markets and cultural experiences.

Global Village will present its Ramadan Wonders programme from February 18 to March 18, with themed décor, dining concepts and cultural performances.

A Symphony of Light, a series of light installations, will illuminate Al Seef and Dubai Festival City Mall until March 23.

Ramadan in Dubai is also defined by its iftar tents, street food festivals and majlis gatherings.

Ramadan Street Food Festival at Sheikh Hamdan Colony will run from February 16 to March 15, bringing together food vendors and family-friendly entertainment.

Dubai Festival City Mall will host a purpose-built Ramadan market alongside its evening light shows.

ROOFLINE by DIFC will introduce a three-week CP Majlis rooftop experience, featuring rotating dining concepts, retail pop-ups and live entertainment.

Jumeirah Emirates Towers Ramadan Majlis returns from February 16 to March 19 with live oud performances, Arabic coffee, fragrance stands and an Emirati iftar menu.

Iconic tents including Asateer Ramadan Tent at Atlantis, The Palm, Majlis Under the Stars at Jumeirah Al Naseem, and Al Diwan Tent at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab will once again host large-scale iftar and suhoor gatherings.

Commenting on the programme, Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said Ramadan in Dubai reflects how the city comes together across neighbourhoods and public spaces.
“This year’s programme focuses on creating simple, welcoming moments that fit naturally into daily life, allowing residents and visitors to engage with the spirit of the Holy Month in ways that feel accessible, respectful and meaningful,” he said.
