Dubai to Host New Year Celebration Honoring Workforce Contributions

Dubai will celebrate New Year 2025 in a bigway by organizing a parade to appreciate the hardworking and diversified labor force of the city. Sponsored by General Directorate, Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai – GDRFA Dubai, the event has been framed under the title, “Celebrating Achievements: International Women’s Day.” ’Building the Future’ and focuses on the factor of workers in the actualization of the emirate’s vision and prosperity.

Organized in the Al Quoz district, the event will open for more than 10 000 visitors of different countries. From 14:00 of December 31, the entertainment will last through the night and include moving opera performances, energetic dance numbers and acrobatics by outstanding singers and musicians from all over the world, lively DJing and informative presentations of various cultures.

Director-General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, Dubai, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri said that the event was not only a New Year’s ceremony. “It is an appreciation to the workforce, and indeed a component of Dubai’s ever prosperous economy,” he said. Al Marri also stressed that all measures have been taken in terms of the comfort and safety of participants and visitors, as well as the priorite of the humane approach, which is thought to characterize Dubai.

For this reason, the GDRFA invites the community to be part of this remarkable event that not only welcomes the New Year but also acknowledges the efforts of Dubai’s working force in creating, a progressive and progressive society.
