Looking at the international rating, Kuwait City has been named the sixth among Arab cities and the 550th in terms of traffic jams in the world in the whole world according to the ‘Global Traffic Score Record for 2023,’ the report underlining the fact that has been conducted by the International traffic data analysis company INRIX. Lamenting about congestion in some of these cities it ranked Dubai on top over other Arab cities followed by Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.
On a global basis, this survey kept New York City as being the most congested city for the second consecutive year, with the citizens of this city losing an estimated $9. 1 billion due to traffic delays. Mexico City came second to New York and was followed by London, Paris, and Chicago as the other major cities in terms of profits. This was the position that other American cities like Los Angeles and Boston that also fared badly in ranking of the most congested cities globally.
In this report, traffic congestion is defined as a situation whereby there is a nearness of too many vehicles on a road network and a significant amount of time and fuel is wasted by drivers and freight carriers as well as buses are similarly weighed down.
