Primark to Enter Middle East Market with Alshaya Group Partnership

The UK’s high street fashion house, Primark is planned to expand in the Middle East in collaboration with Kuwait-based retail franchise Alshaya group. The purpose of this merchandising alliance is to bring Primark fashionable and economical clothes to the GCC which people there have been eagerly waiting for.

John Hadden, the CEO of Alshaya Group, also welcomed the partnership with the move stressing, “We are looking forward to the opportunity to introduce Primark’s stores to the region: many consumers in the Middle East have been waiting for Primark, and we will focus on building a successful partnership which would recreate the atmosphere of its stores. ”

Primark was established 55 years ago in Dublin, Ireland, it presently has stores more than 450 in 17 countries, it focuses on offering customers cheap clothing, replica wear, and unique outlets. This is a new achievement for the clothing retailer as it is aims a new market on the Middle East as part of its international expansion.
