Sheikh Hamdan to Visit India to Boost UAE–India Strategic Ties

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum from Dubai will carry a UAE delegation during his state visit to India which begins on Tuesday April 8th 2025 to strengthen bilateral engagement while promoting partnership between various essential industries.

Sheikh Hamdan appears for discussions with senior Indian ministers as he fulfills his Triple role of Vice Primier Minister Minister of Defence of the UAE along with his Chairman responsibilities for The Executive Council of Dubai.

The discussions concentrate on stimulating joint activities within economy, trade, aviation, technology, sports and artificial intelligence together with additional important subject matters. The UAE shows its dedication through this visit to strengthen essential partnerships which boost developmental growth and both nations’ innovative capabilities as well as regional peace and security.

The official UAE delegation comprising several senior government officials joins Sheikh Hamdan during this official visit while he meets with relevant Indian officials.

The visit demonstrates how the UAE plans to enhance strategic global alliances through India since this country represents its biggest trading partner. The two countries now work closely together on renewable power development and fintech technologies and space programs and logistics operations to create growing economic and technological ties.

During this official trip new agreements and joint initiatives will emerge to enhance the UAE-India cooperation which stands as a vital foundation of interregional and international partnership.
