Dubai Land Department Launches Video Call Services to Simplify Real Estate Transactions

Latest from Dubai’s real estate landscape is a new video call service that the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has unveiled. Players in the real estate industry including investors, property owners and tenants can now easily get key real estate services via video call and or via whatapp messages this has eliminated rounds of moving to and fro from one office to the other.

In collaboration with Injaz Real Estate Registration Trustee, DLD has released the ‘6005AQARI’, an online hub to facilitate faster real estate deals. The launch was headed by Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of DLD, who said that his department aims at enhancing partnership between the governmental and non-governmental entities.

Khalifa Alsalfa, Director of the Real Estate Services Pioneering Department at DLD also stated that such collaborations are important to further the emirate’s vision of continuing to be on top globally in real estate sector. “This implies the need for strong collaboration between the public and the private sector in supporting the digital transformation agenda in Dubai with a view of improving the fabric of the Real Estate environment within the market,” Alsalfa noted.

The new platform covers a number of tools that enable property owners to better control their assets, and tenants — more straightforward and efficient ways to access lease management and related services. Clients can also engage in video and instant chats, making it easier for them to register properties, sign leases and numerous other procedures without having to physical visit the offices.

With the incorporation of these innovative digital services, both DLD and Injaz hope to achieve the same level of efficiency, reliability and convenience in property services to further sustain Dubai’s global city identity for Real Estate investment.

Such cooperation is a long term working plan to promote real estate through innovations and to make sure that Dubai will stay a leader in the rate of digitalization of property management.
