Middle East’s Largest Food Hall, Market Island, Opens at Dubai Festival City Mall

Market Island, which is the largest food hall in the Middle East, has been launched at the Dubai Festival City Mall allowing visitors to taste dishes of various cuisines of the world. Home to over 50 food outlets, this licensed food covering a floor area of 70,000 sq ft offers world cuisines. The food hall became operational in December 2023 and is situated in the building’s ground floor section on the north side.

Market Island holds daily over 3,500 visitors that were accommodated with a diverse offering of food preparation areas, restaurants, bars, lounges. The hall comprises several global famous brands that present their collections in Dubai for the first time. Among them we can mention Pasta Art: fresh homemade pasta directly from the pots of famous Italian chefs, Nikkei Sushi: a clean Japanese cuisine by Chef Roberto Segura, Gelato Ado: the best Italian gelato made from natural recipes and John Dory: a sea food restaurant from Belarus with a Mediterranean spirit.

Other new outlets available at Market Island include some of the famous Dubai born and bred outlets such as Chef Ayad, Allo Beirut, Scarlet’s Bakery, and Homer Lobster. Beef burgers, lamb chops, falafels, shawarmas; indulgent sweet treats and classic BBQ ribs, this venue covers all.

As much as Market Island is all about food, it is also a colorful tourism and leisure destination. There will be performances and disc jockey sets from local talent every weekend at the venue. Visitors will be allowed to take part in markets on weekends, as well as workshops and other activities – this place is suitable for both gourmet and fans of cultural events.

With licensed outlets such as Sayf and Helipad by Frozen Cherry, Dubai Festival City continues to champion what has become one of the most well-liked activities in Dubai – dining out or grabbing a drink at a stylish location.
