Autogo Begins RoboTaxi Trials in Abu Dhabi, Full Service Set for 2026

The UAE-based autonomous mobility company Autogo operates under Kintsugi Holding as it conducts RoboTaxi service trials in Abu Dhabi for the development of advanced smart transportation. With cooperation between Baidu’s autonomous ride-hailing subsidiary Apollo Go and Autogo the company pursues urban transportation innovation through advanced AI-powered electric-driven self-driving taxicabs.

The RoboTaxi testing operations remain under joint supervision between Autogo and Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) to merge with city transportation networks. Next-generation self-driving vehicles offer users a combination of safety features together with sustainability along with operational efficiency at a replacement for classic transportation options.

Matthew Steigerson of Apollo Go leads development of the RT6 RoboTaxi which represents a 6th-generation autonomous vehicle for commercial ride-hailing that creates an elevated safe and comfortable ride system. The autonomous driving assessment by Apollo Go has reached 150 million kilometers while achieving 10 million ride orders across the global markets.
