6th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC) Show Draws 161 Participants in Egypt

The 6th EAHGC show was another glorious event and received much appreciation from the Egyptian owners and breeders held in El Alamein city which is on the shores of the Mediterranean sea in Egypt. Thanks to the Support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Presidential Court, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), 161 Arabian horses from 65 owners competed through three incidences of horsemanship.

Hailing from the EAHS, Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director-General of the EAHS handed the winners cheque amidst energetic and enthusiastic crowd and fluctuating neck-to-neck score-line.

Championship Highlights

  • Yearling Fillies Championship: Anwaar Al Farida of Al Farida Stud took the gold, Rahma Al Mozn of Al Mozn Stud was awarded the silver and bronze was awarded to Sukar Al Farida also from Al Farida Stud.
  • Junior Fillies Championship: Bahga Al Farida was the champion that won the gold, Taya Max Mareen of Al Thaqib Stud settled for the silver, leaving Malika Al Hamd of Ahmedeyat Al Hamd in the third place to take the bronze.
  • Senior Mare Championship: A testing called Ayla El Gabry Ox of El Gabry Stud, Aysha Al Baydaa of Al Baydaa Stud received silver and Sayedah Al Farida get Bronze for Al Farida Stud.
  • Yearling Colts Championship: The gold went to Bassam Al Farida of Al Farida Stud whereas Salim Al Saraghna of Al Saraghna Stud clinched silver and Baareg Al Farida of Al Farida Stud claimed bronze.
  • Junior Colts Championship: Fakhr Al Gammal owned by Al Gammal Stud took the gold, Shaikh Al Yasser owned by Al Yasser Stud was the silver medalist and Baseem Al Masry was the bronze medalist.
  • Senior Stallions Championship: Bebars Al Farida of Al Farida Stud is the gold winner of the competition, Safir Al Khaldon of Aal Ewayan Stud got silver and finally, Karawan El Gabry Ox of El Gabry Stud clinched the bronze medal.

Success and Future Plans

This event received Al Harbi’s commendation for its success, the credit of which goes to the vision and directives provided by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as the hard, persistent follow-up by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan. Al Harbi also announced to his audiences as he disclosed the information that the following show will be on the 7th of July in Brazil.
