Fujairah Hosts UIM MotoSurf World Championship 2025 with 80 International Riders

This official start of the UIM MotoSurf World Championship 2025 – Fujairah Grand Prix brought 80 talented athletes from different nations to the beautiful Corniche of Fujairah for its high-speed marine sporting competitions.

At the beginning of opening day contestants participated in qualifying rounds followed by speed races and time trials which determined the racers advancing to the MotoSurf World Championship events. The Fujairah GP represents one of MotoSurf’s top contests which shows that Fujairah has the capability to present remarkable international sporting tournaments during its three-day run.

Competitors take part in multiple divisions because the races are designed to evaluate speed as well as technical skills using motorized surfboards. Top competitors and coastal fans along with tourists come to the emirate’s beachfront during the championship period.

These competitions maintain Fujairah’s leading position as an important marine sports center for the Middle East. Modern facilities and ideal coastal conditions together with its dedication to high-profile events enable the emirate to increase worldwide trust in water sports activities.

The successful event graduates from Organizers due to Fujairah’s preparedness and its perfect business partnership between local government departments and international sports organizations. Fujairah demonstrates its long-term plan of attracting international tourism and stimulating sports participation and global relations through the successful hosting of diverse events catering to multiple audiences.

The public will experience two additional days filled with racing excitement and venue activities and cultural events located at the Corniche. The event enables the promotion of Fujairah’s delightful landscapes and welcoming atmosphere towards both international tourists and media visitors.

The UIM MotoSurf World Championship receives its sanction from the Union Internationale Motonautique which serves as the global governing body dedicated to powerboat sports and water motor sports worldwide. The high-caliber nature of this event solidifies Fujairah’s position as an international destination for marine sports activities.

The Fujairah GP is scheduled to maintain its program from April 13.
