Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026 Set to Serve Up World-Class Tennis Action at Zayed Sports City

The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026 is gearing up to make a grand return, bringing together the world’s top women tennis players for an eight-day spectacle at the International Tennis Centre in Zayed Sports City. Scheduled from January 31 to February 7, 2026, the tournament promises an electrifying mix of competition, entertainment, and family fun.

Now in its fourth edition, the WTA 500 event has firmly established itself as one of the standout fixtures on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) calendar. The 2025 edition saw intense performances from some of the sport’s biggest names, including eight of the world’s top 20 players. Olympic gold medallist Belinda Bencic claimed her second title, while Jelena Ostapenko and Ellen Perez took home the doubles crown, adding to the tournament’s growing legacy.

Organized in partnership with Mubadala Investment Company and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the event not only celebrates excellence in sport but also showcases Abu Dhabi’s commitment to nurturing global talent and fostering community engagement. According to Homaid Al Shimmari, Deputy Group CEO of Mubadala, “The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open has become one of the UAE’s most important sporting events, inspiring the next generation and uniting communities through sport.”

This year’s edition aims to go beyond the courts with an enhanced Fan Village, featuring live music, interactive games, and a wide variety of food and beverage outlets. Fans can look forward to player meet-and-greets, engaging activities for families, and special promotions. Early ticket buyers before the end of November will automatically enter a raffle to win a trip for two to the Mubadala DC Open 2026, complete with flights, accommodation, and VIP passes.

Families can also enjoy added perks — kids under 12 receive free entry for the first five days, while Saturday’s opening day offers free admission for everyone. For those seeking an exclusive experience, Courtside Hospitality tickets provide gourmet dining, lounge access, and premium seating for an unmatched view of the action.

The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026 continues to serve as a powerful platform for women’s sports, reinforcing the UAE’s growing reputation as a global sports destination. With its unique blend of athletic excellence, cultural celebration, and community engagement, the event is poised to deliver yet another unforgettable week of tennis under Abu Dhabi’s winter sun.
