The Sharjah Safari Run held in Al Dhaid City involved 360 people from different nationalities and age groups and depicted a high spirit.
Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council added that participation ranged from children aged 5 years to those above 60 years of age. The long route that was organized through Sharjah Safari allowed runners and observers to combine physical exercise with wildlife sightseeing.
Al-Dokhi expressed his appreciation to the organizers and affirmed the benefits of such an annual united occasion that provides a great outdoor event to people of the community.
