Faraz Ayub began his acting career young, as a child actor in BBC miniseries In a Land of Plenty (2001). After finishing his education and training at the famous Television Workshop in Nottingham, he landed two key roles: as Fawad in crime drama Silent Witness and as DC Deepak Kapoor in Line of Duty (both BBC).
