6 Must-See Middle East Destinations That Feel Like Paradise

A lot of people believe deserts and tall skyscrapers represent the dominant scenes in the Middle East. Still, the region is famous for owning some of the most exciting unknown places, all with their own characteristics to offer. These seven unique places in the Middle East might take your breath away because of how lovely they are.

1. Mountains of Asir Province – located in Saudi Arabia
Southern Saudi Arabia is home to the Asir Mountains, which provide beautiful valleys, mild temperatures, and ancient villages sitting on the hillsides. People who love nature can walk or use a cable car to reach Jabal Sawda, which is nearly 3,000m high. The area has a peaceful atmosphere and clean air with views covered by clouds.

2. Wadi Dana – Jordan
Wadi Dana is Jordan’s hidden gem and is found within the protected area of Dana Biosphere Reserve. Because of its impressive red cliffs and calm atmosphere, hiking and seeing wildlife are especially appealing in this area. Spending the night in a traditional place helps you experience the local way of life.

3. Salalah is part of Oman.
With the coming of monsoon (Khareef) season, Salalah is filled with green hills, falls of water, and swimming pools. Wander through the Tawi Attair Sinkhole, one of the top deep sinkholes in the world, and chill out in this lovely setting.

4. You may also explore the unique Khor Al Adaid (Inland Sea) near Qatar.
Where the golden dunes touch the sea in Qatar’s Inland Sea, a very unusual image is created. The reserve recognized by UNESCO includes marine creatures, desert populations, and flying birds that come and go. The place is an unspoiled environment that makes the visit worthwhile.

5. Sir Bani Yas Island – one of UAE’s top attractions
It is easy to see why this island in Abu Dhabi reminds people of Africa. Because of giraffe and gazelle safaris, the UAE responds to what the Serengeti is famous for. At Anantara, guests have the chance to stay in luxury close to nature.

6. The region of Hatta belongs to the UAE.
In Hatta, you can easily do kayaking, biking, or hiking in a rocky area set high in the mountains of Dubai.
