Dubai is getting ready for a unique Titanic-themed virtual reality experience that will let users journey in time. The interactive VR attraction named “Titanic: A Voyage Through Time” will open at the same place where Chaos Karts and PAC-MAN used to be on June 24.
Active Games and Fever teamed up with Musealia’s experienced experts to make certain the event was authentic and accurate.
Using the latest virtual reality gear, guests will first explore 3.8 kilometers of ocean and see the wreckage of the Titanic, then they will be sent back to when the ship was brand new in 1912. Tourists can use the Grand Staircase, walk along the upper decks, check out the spacious cabins and dining areas and meet famous people related to Titanic.
Immersive parts of the experience include a first-class boarding pass, access to a cabin and an opportunity to co-operate with ship workers in the engine room by throwing coal into the burning engine.
All the objects such as the fruit trays and your bags, are interactive, giving you a chance to explore storytelling, learn and have fun with the history of Titanic.
Those eager to be on board at the start of service can now put their name on the waitlist and further tickets will be sold starting June 10. Because many are interested, it’s a good idea to register early and save your seat.
Those interested in history, technology or just the Titanic story will find this VR experience both emotional and impressive to see.
The tickets can be booked or information can be found at TitanicExperienceVR.com/Dubai.
