Dubai has added another world-first to its list: Dubai Sports City has fully unveiled the world’s first entirely sports themed hotel called the Emirates Sports Hotel. With great attention to targeting athletes, sports teams and fitness oriented tourists, the hotel is equipped with facilities dedicated to training, nutrition, restoration and leisure.

The Emirates Sports Hotel caters for active guests and offers 144 rooms, 40 apartments and 8 penthouse suites, almost all with personal fitness facilities in each room. In addition to the proximity to Dubai International Cricket Stadium and FitRepublik, guests will be also able to practice in the first-class sports facilities, swim in an Olympic sized pool, and dine in the UAE first conceptual restaurant that offers professional nutrition meals prepared by physiology doctors. Clients enjoy personalized meals which take into account their specific athletic requirement, hence catering for a wide demographic including body builders and dancers.

Further, the Emirates Sports Hotel comes with a decorative sports spa that is a unique concept in this area where the guests can find professional sport and medical massages besides the treatments having appropriately targeted rehabilitation and recovery focuses on the physical and mental well-being of users.

It is noted that the hotel has attracted many of national teams and local clubs and among them is the USA Cricket, New Zealand Olympic swim team, Australia rugby sevens rugby team and many more. Mind that the scope of daily free trainings and focus on sports tourism as a core segment of the business, the Emirates Sports Group CEO Vladimir Burdun sees this facility as the sports hospitality of the future. “It is not merely an accommodation facility but a hub for sports,” he added.

Available daily starting from AED 495, the concept of Emirates Sports Hotel incorporates the mentality of a sports city, which will enhance Dubai’s position in sports tourism.
