Dubai International (DXB) Poised for Record-Breaking Start to 2025 with 4.3M Guests in 15 Days

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is set for its busiest January as it forecasts 4.3 million passengers to transact in the first 15 days of January, 2025. This marks a new high and is up 8 percent compared to the same period in calendar year 2024, and up 6 percent compared to pre-COVID 2018-2019 levels.

The heaviest passenger traffic to be registered at the airport is expected to be recorded on the 3rd of January, with over 311, 000 passengers using the airport. However, during this period DXB is handling a whooping 287, 000 passengers on daily basis which goes to indicate that DXB has the capacity of tackling global travelers traffic demands a hardness.

This outstanding performance speaks volume of the airport as one of the major global players in international passenger traffic. The increase is in effect explained for the two main source markets, which are international visitors who traveled back home after the festive holidays and Dubai’s residents who returned from their holidays.

Offering full rates of connectivity and a high-quality travel experience on a truly massive scale, DXB remains a premier example of operational excellence recognized around the world, thus solidifying the emirate’s place as an international transit hub.
