Dubai Launches On & Off Bus for Top Tourist Attractions

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of the emirate of Dubai plans to launch a new tourist On & Off Bus sightseeing service to visited eight important tourist destinations in September. The route includes such sights as Dubai Mall, Dubai Frame, Dubai Heritage Village, Museum of the Future, Gold Souk, La Mer Beach, Jumeirah Mosque, City Walk and Al Ghubaiba Metro, Bus and Marine Transport Station. The above service resembles the open-top buses that are moving on the ltrown in many global cities.

The cost of getting the bus is 35 Dhs per person, and this fee covers a full day and within this period, the passenger can be dropped at any part of the bus route. A bus from 10 am to 10 pm will be set for each and every hour as the total round trip starting and ending at each of the landmarks will approximately take two hours.

Key Attractions and Highlights:

  • Dubai Mall: A megamall with 1200+ shops, a 200 000-gallon aquarium, Olympic ice Rink and other related eateries. It is also the most convenient place for watching the tallest building in the world the Burj Khalifa and the evening fountain shows.
  • Dubai Frame: Another place to visit , a mesmerizing structure with a unique facility of a sky glass bridge that provides the opportunity to have a view of both the old and new Dubai. It also gives historical information concerning the emirate of Dubai.
  • Heritage Village: Present in the Dubai Creek area, it recreates an Emirate Village with workshops, an Arabic coffee shop, and a mini Souk.
  • Museum of the Future: A sci-fi like building present here to provide information on travelling to space, climatic change, and the like across the seven floors.
  • Gold Souk: An international market of food and everything with gold and jewels cheaper as a global market, but built in Arabian souk style.
  • La Mer Beach: One of the favorite destinations for recreation now, will be waiting for new establishments of restaurants and a beach club shortly.
  • Jumeirah Mosque: An architectural complex with a free-museum part and public access to historical/unique objects.
  • City Walk: Having not less than 252 outlets of shopping and eatery, a cinema house and the Coca Cola Arena for concerts and other occasions.

This new bus is greatly aimed to providing better access in Dubai for tourism with view of promoting the aspect of tourism.
