Dubai Sets New Tourism Records with Over 9.31 Million Visitors in H1 2024

Dubai has once again showcased its demand as tourists’ hotspot of the world with over 9. 31 million international tourists visiting the place in the first half of 2024. These figures depict a 9% improvement from the similar period in the prior fiscal year, proving the efficiency of strategic endeavours in the framework of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

The achievement was later on praised by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum through his Twitter account saying that it is indeed the vision of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum that have lead to the increase. According to the agenda, the vision is to make Dubai amongst the three most desired tourism hubs in the world.

“Many thanks to the teams of the Dubai government and contractual partners for such outcomes,” the vice-regent added. “Owing to its unrelenting pursuit of quality, Dubai has remained a hub of great tourist experiences while improving the global tourism bar. ”

This tremendous progress indeed demonstrates that Dubai has been actively working on improving the tourism facilities and amenities, thus reaffirming its position on the worldwide map as a preferred tourist destination.
