Emirates will create regular flights to Dammam using A350, and it was the first destination at the Kingdom to be served by Emirates by using the brand-new A350 of Airbus.
The daily service is flight EK 827 which takes off at Dubai at 7.30 am and arrives at Dammam at 7.50 am. The outbound leg, EK 828, departs Dammam at 9.20 am to fly to Dubai where it will arrive at 11:45 am.
This Emirates A350 is designed in three-class layout that has 312 seats, where:
32 Business Class lie-flat seats arranged in an one-two-one configuration,
21 Premium Economy sittings similar to 2-3-2 sittings,
259 Economy Class seats arranged with a 3-3-3 seating.
The A350, which is optimized to give great passenger comfort on short and medium haul flights, is equipped with wider cabins, higher ceilings, and less noise. The in-flight entertainment has improved to the latest ice, high-speed Wi-Fi, improved lighting system and ergonomic seats available to all the passengers.
This decision indicates the fact that Emirates has continued investing in Saudi Arabia, in which it has served more than 30 years. Emirates already operates in Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina and Dammam with a route frequency of several flights a day on a mixture of A380s and Boeing 777s, and it is currently swapping it out as of A350.
The introduction of A350 to Dammam also sees the city as the latest destination that Emirates will fly its newest aircraft, which already serves other destinations, such as Mumbai, Edinburgh, Bahrain, Colombo, Kuwait, Muscat, Tunis, Amman, and Ahmedabad.
To date, eight A350s are already part of the Emirates fleet and, by the end of 2025, the company intends to increase its A350 services to 17 destinations, which is another strength of its network and passenger experience.
