Emirates Prepares for 300,000 Travellers at Dubai Terminal 3 Over Easter Weekend

Over 300,000 passengers will travel from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) during the Easter weekend between April 18-21 according to Emirates predictions. With high travel demand predicted the airline released a notice asking people to organize their journey times in advance and reach the airport early.

Emirates advises its passengers to complete their check-in procedures through its official website or mobile application starting from 48 hours before their flight departure. The terminal operation flow will improve when passengers create digital boarding passes in advance. Every flight departing from Terminal 3 can let passengers check in 24 hours before departure time but US-bound flights can start check-in 12 hours early.

Passengers have additional check-in options available at the Emirates City Check-In & Travel Store situated in ICD Brookfield Place within DIFC or at the Ajman Central Bus Terminal where services run between 24 to 4 hours before flight departure unless bound for the United States. Emirates advises passengers to deliver their baggage the evening beforehand so they can skip queue waits and immediately use Immigration or biometric gates on their departure day.

Operational readiness received special attention at the airline through time-specific operational protocols. Every traveler needs to pass passport check and security control starting 90 minutes before their flight takes off. The boardinf process starts only after the gates lock 20 minutes before flight departure. Passengers who arrive late will not receive entry tickets.

Class-specific boarding times include:

Travelers in Premium Economy and Economy class need to reach the gate sixty minutes ahead of departure time.

Automobile access to First and Business Class passengers should occur 45 minutes before flight time.

Emirates intends to operate on schedule for Easter weekend flights while asking travelers to follow the new travel regulations for improved services at this high-volume time.
