Dubai Resident Wins Dh10 Million in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Draw

The winning lucky individual was an Iranian expat Hossein Ahmad Hashemi who won the grand prize of Dh10 million in the raffle draw – Abu Dhabi Big Ticket revealed. The expat was first selected in the 263 series of the draw which took place on the 3rd of June this year.

The Iranian man has been resident in Dubai for the last 20 years and bought his winning ticket from the internet raffle following participation in the same Big Ticket competition for the last five years. Hossein was able to get his first ticket in the raffle after his friends advised him about Big Ticket and asked him to try his luck. Since he joined the affiliation, he has been very active throughout the various events.

His five friends will become millionaires now and the entire prize money will be divided between him and the five friends. When probed as to how he intends to spend the earnings, he answered that he, together with his friends, is yet to come up with a consensus and take over a business where the prize money will be used to start the business venture or split the earnings among them.

As for how he felt about his victory, Hossein said, “I am very, very happy for my winning. ” On what he considers advice for Big Ticket customers, he shared: “My advices is, never give up, keep on trying until you win. I have been buying 5yrs, yet, I never lose hope. ”

Big Ticket continued its business after a one-month disruption from operating early this year in April. This was in response to changes of the Gaming Regulatory Authority in the UAE whereby there was a break allowed for several days.
