A fibre-optic and microduct solutions company Emtelle has officially launched a 50 million manufacturing and innovation hub in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah, Abu Dhabi. This innovative 48000 sq-m state-of-the-art telecom hub developed in cooperation with KEZAD Group aims to meet the growing need for speedy telecoms connectivity throughout the MENA region and the rest of the world.
Well positioned in the strategic KEZAD zone of sharjah, Emtelle has invested in its new purpose built 4 facility to ensure that it infrastructure conforms to sustainable and energy efficient best practice. Microduct tube bundles and pre-connectorised fibre solutions will be manufactured at the facility, providing higher bandwidth telecommunications solutions for clients desiring faster service and delivery.
Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones at the AD Ports Group has declared his readiness for Emteelle to begin this expansion because the facility fully supports KEZAD industrial development and the Industry 4.0 agenda. Tony Rodgers Emtelle Group CEO noted the hub as critical to its approach to developing capacity and flexibility in one of the company’s key markets stating KEZAD’s logistical infrastructure strengthens overall operating advantage.
Besides enhancing telecom potential in the UAE, this facility also contributes to export-oriented employment in the region and supports the digitalization process – the basis of the further development of smart cities and connected societies in accordance with the vision of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.
