No tickets. No booking. No fee. Just four evenings of art, live music, workshops and gallery-quality exhibitions at one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year. DIFC Art Nights is back for its 21st edition, returning to Gate Village from April 23 to 26. Entry is completely free, no booking required, and doors are open every evening from 5pm to 10pm. If you have been looking for a reason to head out this month, this is it.

What Is DIFC Art Nights?

DIFC Art Nights is a twice-yearly, open-air art festival that has become a fixture on the cultural calendar of Dubai, set within the chic environment of Gate Village in Dubai International Financial Centre. It runs once in spring and once in autumn, and it has been going for more than a decade.

The format is easy. Show up at any point between 5pm and 10pm on any of the four evenings. There is no schedule to follow and no programme to commit to. You walk through the venue, check out what catches your attention, and stop wherever you like. The programming is designed for browsing. You do not need to commit to a schedule, just walk through and stop at whatever catches your attention.

What to Expect at the 21st Edition

Opera Gallery and Christie’s are co-curating the 2026 programme. That alone puts the quality of what is on display at a high level. You can expect paintings, sculptures, digital art, photography and murals, with works on display from these galleries, along with panel talks, live performances and free workshops.

None of it requires pre-registration. You show up, you explore, and if something looks interesting, you go in.

For context on scale: the 20th edition in November 2025 had more than 150 artists representing 100-plus nationalities and more than 200 artworks throughout Gate Village.

Who Is Behind It

Opera Gallery is one of the most recognisable names in the commercial art world, with locations in more than 20 cities globally. Christie’s needs no introduction as the most well-known auction house on the planet. Their involvement in the 21st edition means the curation is at a level that would typically cost to access.

Previous editions have featured panel discussions co-hosted by Christie’s and ZeeArts Gallery, with speakers ranging from DIFC’s own COO to international artists and ambassadors. That kind of programming returning for 2026 is a good sign for what to expect this month.
