Blessed by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—The Dubai Civil Defense is getting ready to introduce a revolutionary program called ‘1 Billion Readiness’. This global campaign safety and fire hazard program is planned to raise awareness and with train one billion people between year 2025 and year 2027.

Participants, on the successful completion of the training, will be awarded certified electronic certificates, credential issued by the Global Wildfire Monitoring Centre and the Dubai Civil Defence Readiness Programme.
In local level, it will focus on reaching people from all ages, learning institutions, government agencies and departments, and private firms to enrich its extension. It is a multi-peted intervention that seeks to promote safety within all population strata.
Hence adding the understood concept of readiness with the number one billion, Dubai is further strengthening its position as the global city for innovations in the sphere of safety and crisis management, as well as for making a constructive change both at the regional and global levels marked by launching the ‘1 Billion Readiness’ initiative.
