The Dubai Future Foundation has launched the ‘Lead and Design Program’ Danish under the ‘Design Gov’ the strategic initiative where the intention was to gather 40 governmental workers from 25 various bodies. A recent 14-week program is aimed at enhancing the Emirati talent by providing them with the best of the human-centred design methodologies to transform the government services and functioning. Through such a culture of design and planning, the program expects to improve the quality of people’s lives and solidify Dubai and the UAE’s status as leaders of new-generation governance.
Participants will have theoretical and practical activities: Leadership Immersion in Amsterdam will be organized and theoretical and practical sessions will be done through hybrid workshops and seminars where new technologies in design and innovation will be discussed. The program has been divided into two formats of practical application and up to December 2024, there will be a 3-day event in Dubai where participants will showcase their projects that are set for revolutionizing the future.
The ‘Lead and Design Program’ is in line with the general vision for the UAE and encompasses larger initiatives such as the “UAE Centennial 2071” The country aims to mirror the highest international standards of governance as it offers the highest potential for human benefit. This effort represents a giant leap towards the spread of authorities that nurture national talent to create the services of the future in the UAE.
