A Story Rooted in Dubai’s Global Identity
Set against the backdrop of modern Dubai, the musical follows Will, an artist from London who moves to the city chasing both love and creative ambition. Alongside his partner Sophia, who already lives in Dubai, Will attempts to bring a dream musical to life while navigating the city’s culture, diversity, and fast-paced energy.
The storyline mirrors the journey of thousands of expatriates who arrive in Dubai with big dreams — making the production both personal and universally relatable.
A Powerhouse Creative Team
The musical is produced by Dubai-based French music producer Stephane Boukris and directed by Johan Nus, known for his work on Arabs Got Talent. The executive production team includes Gilles Papain, whose credits include global shows such as Celine, while the musical direction features contributions from Nazim Khaled and international artist Kendji Girac.
Together, the team brings global theatre expertise to a production built specifically for Dubai.
