Private schools in Dubai have been told they will not be subjected to a range of inspections in the 2024-25 academic year, KHDA has said. This statement from the Dubai Media Office (DMO) is intended to assist students with their teaching and learning process so that the institution can facilitate improvements that schools want to initiate and implement in order for their development plans.
Rather than having each school go through a complete inspection, the DSIB team will only perform what is called ‘quality assurance visits’ in the following academic year wherein the evaluation will only focus on some main areas that concern the continuance of the schools’ improvement plans.
But, third-year private Dubai schools that have not previously been through full inspections will still be assessed. Inspection arrangements In light of the above guidelines, schools that seek a full inspection next year should apply to the inspection team under KHDA auspices.
For additional information, parents and guardians can access full inspection reports for the 2023-24 academic year as well as individual parent summary reports summarizing the results of the inspections on the KHDA site or mobile application.
