Indeed, during a recent meeting with Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, and Shou Zi Chew, CEO of TikTok indicated that Dubai can learn from TikTok as it relates to young talented content creators. This endeavour conforms to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to enhance cooperation with international media technology players and further enhance the media city status of Dubai.

I started using TikTok after the company said it had established its regional headquarters in Dubai in the same year, and it has grown tremendously within the MENA region, especially with young users. This collaboration is a thrust forward in fully capitalizing on the potential of TikTok’s platform and resources to aid in the achievement of the Dubai’s goal of transforming the emirate into a content creation and media hub.
