Emaar, the renowned Dubai-based developer, has unveiled its latest ambitious project: Heights Country Club and Wellness enterprise started in February 2008. This $55 billion project for a residential community, unveiled at the Armani Hotel on May 20th, could dramatically change the face of Dubai’s real estate, for it is based on a concept of health, wellness, and a life in retreat.
The Heights spread over 250 acres of prime land spread over 81 million sq ft and comprises of more than 11400 height of style and comfort with chic town houses and semi attached villas. Intended to naturalize the built environment and to be sophisticated and modern, these residences are linear but feature ethereal curves, both as form and function.
Situated right on E611/E77 road in the area called Al Yalayis 5, Heights is only 10 mins away from the new Al Maktoum International Airport that will be the largest airport in the world with a throughput capacity of 260 million people per year. This prime location makes its occupants easily accessible to the major logistics, industrial zones and the developing core areas in Dubai.
The core of The Heights will include a vast and unobstructed open space of 1. 3 million square meters of operating space; Bicycle track measuring 38 km. It will also entail the provision of giant parks, function grounds, and all manner of recreational structures aimed at increasing physical activity.
