- Expressed from the lowest, prominent, exterior, ground entrance point to the highest architectural point in the building.
- Refers only to the sculptural shapes or forms, but does not include the antennas, signages, flagpoles and other similar kinds of technical-technological equipment.
- This measurement is the most common one and is the basis for the CTBUH listings of the World’s Tallest Buildings.
- Highest Occupied Floor:
- Starting from the flood level on the lowest significant open walkway for pedestrians and ending on the last occupied floor on the roof of the building.
- Excludes maintenance areas.
Height to Tip:
- Starting from the walking level of the lowest most substantial entrance, exterior door, stairway, up to the highest point of the building.
